Welcome to the 6th True Chili Festival! After a few years' break, we are returning to Šmarje pri Jelšah, where we will celebrate our love for spicy cuisine, socializing, and unforgettable experiences together. Mark your calendars: September 6, 2025!

🔥 9:30 – The “ČILI con Šmarje" Challenge
Come and watch cooking masters in action as they battle with fire and flavor in this thrilling chili cook-off!
🍲13:00 – Chili con Šmarje Lunch & Festival Opening
Enjoy a delicious chili lunch, cheer for the winners of the morning contest, and join us for the official opening of the festival.
🎈13:00–17:00 – Children’s Program
Fun activities, creative workshops, and special surprises to keep our youngest visitors entertained.
🌶️ 17:00 – Golden Habanero Competition with League of Fire
Witness the ultimate chili-eating showdown as competitors battle for the prestigious Golden Habanero title!
🎶 18:30 – Live Concert: Buchko Band
End the day on a high note with great music, energy, and dancing.
